Book: ‘The Anatomy of Being,’ by Shinji Moon
Wow... that entire book left me in awe. And how greatful and inspiring to have read such a great collection of poems within the first month of the new year. As pictured above, this book didn’t leave my lap while I sat in an IV chair this past month. I’ll be reading it again - I found myself savoring each and every word. Her poetry is so vivid, and evoking. Her story telling capability through imagery and metaphor were complex but graspable. You close the book knowing the anatomy of her being, and your own. Seriously reading this book is an experience - if you missed reading it, get a copy now. You’re welcome.
My personal favorites:

A rendition of autumn
What I mean when I say touch me
